Starting    from  the   project   "renaissance  in   comparison", our  target   is   trying to understend better the reality of the city, as the social contest where we live, or better where we are forced to live. Planning the job, the deep connection between utopia and  reality   as  emerged  clearer  and clearer, and  consequently, the need to enlighten the ethic and tecnicnical  sorces  that marked  city  and architectural project's experiences, mostly  since  the  renaissance, when we  conquered and ideal  anthropocentric vision.

During   the    first   phase, we   choose to   point out   some  basic  parts  related  whit town-planning and society as politic, social and financial choices, and conditionings of technological  processes   which  marked  every single historical  moment. So  we have explained the meaning of "ideal city and real city".


When our research will come to face the reality of our city, we hope to be able to point out and understend the distinctive features of the town around us, and, at the end of a century  in  which we seem  just resigned to accept what we have or, barely to manage what we  have, we hope to be  able to reconquer the chance to express our needs and our wishes of  changes.
